Pros

Patriot is one of the few true software companies in NEO. They have a refined development life cycle and talented teams. Patriot has a great work life balance and a relaxed atmosphere. On occasion you'll even see a dog or two visit the office. They offer competitive pay, excellent benefits as well as work from home opportunities with several fully remote employees. It's a great environment to learn and grow.

Employee Culture - Some of the best people I've met Pay/Benefits - Very good for the Akron/Canton region Room for vertical mobility Small shop

Cons

Religion and political leans shared overtly from upper management (Mandatory meetings include prayers sometimes; obvious pressure for/against political candidates) Upper management lacks talent. Many senior leaders don't have any experience in the business area they lead. Strong sense of nepotism (leading to above note). Micromanagement was rampant. Upper management badmouths employees who have left or were terminated in the past openly.
