      Pros

      There are some truly intelligent and kind people working at Pax8. You can work remotely. The work/life balance is generally good in P&E for a lot of teams.

      Cons

      Since mid-2023, the humanity within Pax8 has taken a backseat to profitability and productivity. While employees are frequently told that the company is "people first," the once-great culture is rapidly deteriorating. With the company's emphasis on fostering a "high-performance culture," the satisfaction of tenured employees has plummeted. Additionally, Pax8 appears to consistently underpay employees across various disciplines.

While we always appreciate hearing we're getting it right in terms of supporting remote working and work-life balance I am sad to hear you believe we are losing our humanity as an organisation. All cultures have to evolve to stay relevant and reflect the ebb and flow of new members joining them. We remain committed to our people first culture and while we have deliberately refocused this to be about Healthy High Performance we believe in the mutual, long term benefits of being part of a winning team for every Pax8er and the broader organisaion. We are proud how many people decide to join Pax8 on the strength of our culture. With our recent growth and focus on becoming a product led technology business we have recently redefined our purpose internally which is focused on the power of technology to make the dreams of billions of small business owners come to life. This is the connective tissue that inspires Pax8ers. Finally, on pay, it is worth knowing that Pax8 evaluates total compensation - comprising of salary, bonus, benefits and equity - vs the markets it operates in and adjusts this annually to remain competitive. Every salaried employee gets a pay review each year, globally.

I am pleased you have so many of our people priorities listed in your pros but concerned to hear you feel we are losing some of this with your cons. I acknowledge with the pace of change in a high growth organisation that is also evolving we have not always succeeded in explaining the why behind new initaitives as we launch them into the organisation. We are working hard on that with a significant investment in our operations and communications functions this year. Pax8 has been on a journey to become more data driven and we are unapologetic in our commitment to healthy high performance as we want everyone to feel like they are part of a winning team. To reassure you, our commitment remains strong on culture, and our focus is people AND profit, understanding that the two need to work in balance for a successful company. I strongly encourage you to share any concerns and seek further clarity from your direct manager or functional leader.       Cons

      Toxic sales floor. Many unhappy former and current members of staff. Awful management (Regional Sales Managers) Unrealistic increasing targets Office politics are rife.

      Thank you for leaving a review even though some of this was tough to read. I want to acknowledge the sense of anger and disappointment in your experience balanced with the data we have from our enagement surveys that shows high trust in direct line management across the UK sales organisation. I am sorry this was not so in your case. As we evolve from start up to more of an enterprise organsiation we have not only invested significantly in leadership development but also revenue enablement and operations to drive greater sales governance, in-life training and development for all of our sales colleagues and data driven decision making. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.
