Pros
I have been at PayJunction a little over a year. Before PayJunction, I was working at one of the US's largest private corporations and I felt like just a number everyday. There was always talk of growth and personal development but never any action. Your work was only appreciated based off how fast you were, your ideas stolen by middle management and presented as their own, a work atmosphere. of bullying and passive aggressiveness. PayJunction is nothing like that. I felt so welcome from Day 1. As someone who started in an entry level role, I am in daily meetings with Directors and Executives. They ask me my opinions, my insight, how any changes they make will impact my role and ability to succeed. And it is not word service either, I can see how my opinions are valued and implemented. I received a promotion in only 10 months in my role. You will work hard, don't get me wrong. The work is challenging but also so incredibly rewarding. I have grown more professionally in the past year than the last 5 combined at my previous employer. My favorite aspect of the role is the cross department rapport and the company culture. Everyone is doing their best work because your work is in a chain that impacts your colleagues work and we all want each other to succeed. There is not passing the buck at PayJunction, just people who own it everyday. I am so excited to work at PayJunction and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
Cons
As positive as my work experience, I am not going to mince words when it comes to compensation. This is the one area that I feel needs improvement in such a competitive market. People love working here, and no one wants to leave. However, we have seen some great people go elsewhere as they have gotten offers too good to refuse.
