Pros

One of the reasons PayJunction has been so special to work for is the company culture. Being able to count on a team that doesn't feel like a company, but more like a family has given me the confidence to grow. I know I can count on their guidance to achieve my goals. Another pro of working for PayJunction is our work/life balance that is also part of the culture. We do work hard, but PayJunction encourages us to enjoy life outside work as well.

Cons

Due to the nature of our current pandemic situation, I feel that communication can sometimes slack when a task may require certain steps or clarification in order to move forward with its completion.

Pros

The best reason to work at PayJunction is for the amazing people at the company. Everyone works hard and is a team player. You can always reach out to someone to ask a question. Managers and directors are accessible to all for learning opportunities and collaboration. The people at PayJunction are top talent and their work is inspiring. Also, the 401k match is excellent.

Cons

I truly believe PayJunction wants to do best by their employees, however, there are areas that lack attention. Pay is NOT competitive. PayJunction should do a market analysis for all positions within the company and then beat that if they want to call their pay competitive. Also have not heard of an inflation adjustment ever being given, yet our headquarters is in one of the most expensive cities to live in the country. $1,500 WFH stipend was promised to employees almost 2 months ago and has not yet been given. When people asked, they were told to be patient and stop asking. Laptops were promised to all employees at the same time and there are still employees who do not have them. Sadly, I think everything mentioned above has caused a lack of faith in PayJunction's word and has diminished the belief that one of the company's core values is integrity.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts in this review. We fully acknowledge that PayJunction has room for improvement in many areas but it is not for lack of trying. Based on employee feedback, we formulated and then shared our plans for our generous and ambitious Flex First program on July 2nd. This plan included: Remote stipends for all employees, Retrofitted offices with a desk reservation system, Flexible work from home choices, Laptops for all employees, and a $1,500 allowance for getting your home office set up as a comfortable and efficient work environment. We have successfully completed: Retrofitting all offices, Implementation of the remote stipend for everyone, Gotten the desk reservation system up and running, allowing our employees to choose to work from the location they feel most productive (home or office), Either delivered laptops or shared the date when laptops will be delivered with everyone. We know that we need to finalize the process and policy for the $1,500 home office allowance and are working hard to get that completed and communicated out. In regards to employee pay, we continually perform compensation analysis with the goal of making sure our total compensation plans remain competitive in the market. We urge all of our employees to reach out to their managers with any specific concerns regarding compensation. We appreciate you for taking the time to share your feedback.
