      1. Structured environment with many training opportunities 2. Focuses on individual goals 3. Great work life balance with many amazing provisions like Gym, Dance Studio along with non-profit initiatives like eWIT

      Pros

      Fun, exciting place to work. I learned a ton and got to work on some really cool projects. The people are very smart. Good pay. Top-notch benefits.

      Cons

      Very hard to get promoted. eBay/PayPal uses the horrible "stack ranking" system (google it to learn more.) Everybody I knew was very dedicated and working extremely hard, but the arbitrary rules for performance evaluation demanded that only a small percentage could be recognized/rewarded for excellence. Too many re-orgs, too much politics. Most people were nice, but they were over-shadowed by a handful of abrasive types with big egos. Your experience may be good or bad, depending on which org you're in.
