Pros

Remote work is nice and my coworkers are amazing.

Cons

The CEO is horrible, he’s known for being data obsessed and does not care about employees. So our HR Services division keeps changing their KPIs to meet his wants even though HR is hard to quantify. The KPIs are insane, upper management keeps changing them, like they’re dangling the carrot farther and farther. Pay is low for HRBPs too. The other departments are horrible, especially payroll. Clients complain about how bad payroll is (which is embarrassing for a company that is a payroll company!). The sales reps have questionable ethics. Gibson is also bending to the current admin and severely scaling back our DEI. The company is also getting so cheap under Gibson. They won’t hire CA based employees even though that’s where HR consulting is needed the most.

Pros

It’s a great company with a lot of potential. They provide opportunities for training and invest in their people. They have average pay with a lot of great benefits.

Cons

No matter how hard you work or how much effort you put in, it doesn’t matter here. It feels like being back in high school it’s a popularity contest. Managers funnel NSS and SOAR referrals to the people they favor. Even if you’re actively working a territory, it won’t make a difference referrals still go to the chosen few. Managers will even manipulate the system to help low performing individuals hit their goals. For context, company rankings show that only about 5% of the entire district consistently hits quota, with just a handful making it to conference. So dream big but not too big. Trust me, you won’t get very far here. And if they try to sell you a dream, remember they’re just looking for another churn and burn employee.

Pros

Good benefits, mostly work from home

Cons

Unrealistic expectations. They expect the world from you but give you nothing to achieve that. Training process teaches random things you don’t need to know and when it comes time to actually do your job, it’s nothing you’ve learned. Management only cares about you if you are exceeding your quota. it’s like a high school locker room where the managers are talking trash about the reps they dislike to other reps on the team, sooo unprofessional. They changed the commission structure in June 2024 which was essentially a massive pay cut for 99% of the sales reps. There is a reason this company has astronomical turnover. Their pricing is so much higher than other companies which makes it hard to sell, and the constant issues for clients you do bring on due to lack of organization and communication to other departments leads to nonstop complaints. This company is like the blind leading the blind. Everyone I know who works here hates their life and are actively looking for other jobs. This served me nothing other than a mediocre paycheck and a stamp on my resume. Oh! Also there is mandatory overtime with no extra pay, so if you like eating dinner with your family at night & on the weekend, I suggest you apply to a different company.
