      Base pay plus uncapped commission

      If you don’t act like Paycom is your whole life, they will be skeptical of your commitment. Extreme micromanagement and tons of reporting and rolling up numbers. Top-down initiatives that don’t make sense. Sent everyone to corporate for training with a week’s warning right before Christmas. Meetings don’t count if they’re not in-person. Leadership (manager, regional) are glorified report writers. In office Mondays and Fridays and in-person meetings Tuesday-Thursday. The expectation of the job is that you are booked out, but you still have to report on meetings you booked during certain hours on Monday and Friday. Major stress culture and the expectation to close quota every week even if you closed something big the week before. Big quotas without new products to sell.

      Decent Pay, But High Demands and Overworked

      Pros

      Good pay for starting out. Decent benefits. Office campus is nice. Usually standard 8 hour day (mostly 8:30-5:30).

      Cons

      The training is not in depth. SOPs are laughable sparse, or so bloated that they are fairly unusable. Lots of mandatory overtime. Hard deadlines that almost impossible to reach consistently. Will put you on a PIP with no real support on how to improve job function. Shifting focus on "everyone on site having knowledge in all departments" instead of consistent thorough training for the department you are in. Ramp up in production can happen suddenly with little notice. Promised work from home availability for weather emergencies, and immediately back tracked. Have to schedule your own trainings, but all trainings are mandatory.
