We appreciate your kind words about our team and in-office environment. We understand the importance of clearly communicating role expectations, including work arrangements, and we acknowledge that changes can be challenging. However, as a rapidly growing organization, we adapt to evolving business needs. Please reach out to our team at hrmgmt@paycomonline.com if you have any additional feedback to share.

Pros

Many great people employed there, benefits and pay were decent

Cons

There is no job security. If you're not laid off for a flimsy reason, you're taking on the work of your recently fired teammates. They will sometimes claim the firings are offset by technology or automation improvements, but that is not how it seemed while I was there. It's an especially bad place to work in HR.

Working at Paycom means being part of a team that is driven by a passion for excellence, a focus on innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. While we understand that every employee experience is unique, we actively work to maintain open and transparent communication with our team members throughout their Paycom experience. We’d also like to clarify that we have not experienced layoffs, and in fact we’re still hiring across many of our departments. If you wish to share more about your employee experience, please connect with our team at hrmgmt@paycomonline.com.

Pros

Decent benefits and pay, a lot of good people work at the company.

Cons

Upper management is very hypocritical when it comes to caring about employees. The company boasts about having the best benefits and caring so much about their employees but their actions say otherwise. They rarely let us work from home during inclement weather, even though we have the resources to do so. They recently shorted paid maternal leave from 12 to 8 weeks and didn’t tell us; we are now required to submit a doctors note for an additional two weeks of time off (unpaid if you don’t have PTO) for “family bonding”. For years Paycom had Flex Time, which allowed employees to be flexible with their schedule for doctors appointments, childcare, and minor emergencies. The CEO recently caught wind of this and had NO IDEA his own company had this implemented and immediately got rid of it, which put all of his employees in tough situations.

At Paycom, we take pride in our employee-centric culture and award-winning benefits. We understand that our employees value these benefits, and we're committed to maintaining them. In fact, our paid medical maternal leave has increased, and we continue to offer support to our team members during significant life events. We prioritize open communication and transparency in our decision-making processes, and while we understand that our team members may have different experiences, we trust that being on campus unites our teams by providing a supportive work environment, ensuring all employees are best equipped with the resources needed to succeed. We strongly encourage you to reach out to your leader or our team at hrmgmt@paycomonline.com so that we can learn more about your concerns and experience.
