Pros

People are great. Codebase is okay, depends on the team. Tech stack is outdated for most teams. PHP is used for the backend. Most use React Typescript for frontend. Great benefits. Pay is great for location. $4 lunches.

Cons

Leadership at the company needs changing. Most at the top dont know what they are doing. Job stability used to be a pro, but there is no longer stability. High paced with just new grads means most code wont be scalable or performant. Work life balance is low.

Paycom offers employee groups to build community and provide support. I'm part of their ADAPT ERG which helps to support and promote awareness for different abilities. I'm grateful to be seen and have a safe community network.

Cons

At this time not all national holidays are observed.
