Pros

I've worked at Paycom for more than six years, and I can say without exaggeration that it's been one of the best decisions of my life. The high level of professional development, excellent compensation and culture of winning provides employees with an unique opportunity to self-actualize at a very young age.

Cons

No more or no less than any other workplace.

Pros

-Great compensation and commission structure -Culture of Learning and collaborative team environment -Executive leadership that values their employees which trickles down to both regional and city managers who uphold company’s values -It’s also great to be a part of a company that prides themselves on ethics. Too many companies in this industry lie to the client about product functionality/capabilities and pricing structures which creates headaches in the implementation processes and eventually leads to client turnover. Paycom’s solution is innovative and their strategy is what their clients value so as a sales representative, you can be transparent and build trust with the client because the solution is exactly what it is promised on the back end as it is on the front end of the sales process.

Cons

-It is a Sales job so you will need to put in lots of hours to be successful but if you have a great work ethic/mindset and are driven by financial success, this is an excellent company to work for.

Pros

I am so grateful that I work for a company that has vision and is constantly working to improve processes and experiences for its' employees and clients. The company culture is a very progressive and it's great being able to work so closely with employees across departments. As a TSR you have the freedom to set your own schedule and work on-site with clients which is great if you don't enjoy working at a desk all day. In this role you have the opportunity to grow and develop interpersonal, public speaking, time management and organization skills, just to name a few.

Cons

The company and role is constantly changing so if you are not flexible at adapting to change then the role could likely be frustrating. Also, there is a ton of information to learn so you have to be comfortable with the fact that it going to take time to adjust in the role. However, everyone is always willing to help because everyone was a new hire at one point!
