A good company working to become the best

Pros

Essentially free healthcare for an employee only level plans. They are pretty good health plans too. If you work at corporate you get catered lunches and use of the gym facility. If you work hard you definitely have the chance to move up. Your work won't go unnoticed.

Cons

The vacation policy. You only get one week of vacation your first year and honestly it makes me feel not valued. Industry minimum is two weeks, you get one week your first year. Paycom says they are a leader in so many aspects but this is definitely not one of them.

Pros

Good exposure. One can gain a great deal of knowledge and experience. They teach you things fast.

Cons

Less understanding and communication between upper management and employees. They bury you with loads of work and extremely tight deadlines. All this makes you steadily lose interest in the work you do.

At Paycom, our leadership team is closely involved with its employees. Our employees are encouraged to meet with executives at any time or join the mentorship program to further leadership knowledge. We deliver a number of surveys to employees throughout the year and act on the results of their feedback. We believe in keeping communication open between our leadership team and employees to ensure our processes are always improving. At times, work can be challenging, but it stretches you as an employee, and with those challenges come unlimited opportunities for career growth.
