Pros

Sometimes work is very interesting, client centered problem solving.

Cons

The company is trying to develop and serve clients at the same time. The do not have institutional knowledge because of rapid turnover. Despite what they want the world to read! They actually make new employees write glowing reviews!

Innovation is the name of the game at Paycom and we are lucky that our employees are engaged and actively looking for ways to enhance all that we have to offer, both as a leading HR and payroll software developer and as a service-oriented organization. We absolutely do not make new employees write reviews and encourage everyone to tell others about their experience at Paycom. As a high-growth organization, we are continually developing our leaders and employees to help us better lead our industry. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

Great stepping stone

Pros

The people! Hands down. The employees that you work alongside with are some of the best that I have experienced. There are many driven individuals. There are also many that are not and that is OK but there is a clear opportunity for those that put in the work early on.

Cons

On the flip side of the pro's, there are con's also associated with the people. False promises can be made to high performers and when that starts to happen, you will lose a lot of good people. Paycom is a great stepping stone for people to increase career opportunities. The swag is nice but compensation is prettier. Bonus opportunities only come in certain departments when there are more client facing departments that don't receive that opportunity. The blame is quick to be thrown though if that department is the reason that a client terminates services. Specialists are expected to go through the same training's with now compensation to show when others get that.

We appreciate your review and have passed your advice onto members of our senior leadership team. We agree that our people are pretty amazing and that's not something many companies have the luxury to say. Even though we have received numerous accolades as one of the best places to work, we are always looking for ways to improve as an organization. We thank you for your tenure at Paycom and wish you the very best.

We are very proud of our people, perks and benefits. Production, like all departments, is important to our business. At Paycom our leaders attend monthly training sessions and are always challenged to better themselves and those around them, both personally and professionally.
