      Pros

      Before I started at Paycom, I was working in higher education. I never imagined I would go into human resources for a payroll company, but it has been the best decision I have ever made. There are plenty of pros to working here. Some include: 1. Everyday catered lunches for $4 and a monthly luncheon that is free to employees (if you do swipe on that day it goes as a donation) 2. The HR department is really friendly, and is always welcome to feedback 3. Everyone appreciates questions! 4. There is detailed training to help everyone grow

      Cons

      There are a few cons to working here because not every place is perfect. A few of the cons would be: 1. Traffic, we do call it "Paycom Traffic" since our company is ever growing there are just so many people leaving or arriving at the same time 2. There is some requirements for overtime, but that is only to work best with everyone's schedule

      A good place to work

      Pros

      Working for a tech company is great, and working for a company that tries to do right for their employees is very nice. The atmosphere is one of work hard, play hard. Everyone has so far been nice and great to work with. Most everyone comes to meetings ready to get things done, which is a nice change of pace from the rest of corporate america. Can’t complain about compensation so far.

      Cons

      The company is growing like crazy, but it still seems to want to hold on to some things (processes, policies) that are for small companies, which is very normal but can still pose issues. The benefits are fine but nothing crazy. Health insurance is $1, but those of us who have worked in insurance know that UHC is the worst one. The gym is nothing special and more for games than actual physical fitness. Retirement is just fine. Vacation is lacking, especially for the first years.
