Pros

Pay is very good for a reason...

Cons

The busiest part of the year is during the holidays, Do not expect to have a life from November to February outside of work. Turnover problem is massive and really hurts morale. You are considered tenured if you can make it a full year. Clients unhappy with their specialist being changed every 3 months due to people quitting or getting fired, and will make your life worse because of this, Hours can be extremely long. Way too much work, with un realistic expectations from out of touch leadership. Feedback is shared to leadership, but ignored. They could care less about the happiness of the PSD team. One escalation will get you fired. The learning curve for the system is huge, and many do not stay long enough to master the system. This causes many tenured specialists to put their work on hold often to assist the new hires, which gets old after having 4-10 new hires on your team in one year.

Pros

The Support we have is Client success is great. We have a clear direction on where we are headed and what the goals are for our group and our people. We want to ensure that our goals are attainable for our people and our clients.

Cons

Internal processes need to be more clearly defined when dealing with transitions.

Pros

Paycom has been a life changing opportunity for me in the transition from Military to Civilian Life. The first few years after I had separated I had bounced around a lot from job to job, but after getting my degree I finally feel like I have found my career home here. I have had great opportunities to hone business essential skills here and develop as a professional; I really do feel that the opportunities here are endless as far as development goes. My leadership from my supervisor up has been the best I have ever had in my professional career, they have taken the time to get to know me, and I feel that they are invested in our success as specialists and people. I feel like my input and accomplishments are relevant here as we celebrate wins as a team. Overall, I would, and have in the past, recommend Paycom as a place to work. It is hard work at times, but nothing worth it is ever easy.

Cons

Office environment may not be for everyone, but Paycom does its best to make it fun and engaging.
