Great culture and environment, but no flex or WFH options

Pros

The people here are what makes Paycom so great. I love what our teams do in the marketing department and the collaboration we have. Great benefits as well.

Cons

No flexibility when it comes to working from home if you need to. We're a massive tech company, but working from home is frowned upon despite doing it for two years during the pandemic. It's somewhat frustrating other departments are allowed to, but we are not. All of our competitors offer a work-from-home option as well even if it's just a couple days a week.

Cons

Recruiters don't know the real day-to-day of the role, so make sure you ask when applying/interviewing. No remote work allowed for specific departments - we lose a lot of great people in the interviewing process and to other offers because of this outdated rule. Burnout is real - Take your PTO and work with your supervisor to discuss priorities for your role.
