Pros

The role is incredibly fast paced so it is great for those the like speed. Compensation is industry leading and top performers and rewarded very well. The company only promotes from within for leadership opportunities are there for the taking for those that are willing to move and have a passion for helping other succeed.

Cons

The pace can be a con for some. Paycom has a very clearly defined culture that revolved around winning and effort. If that doesn't align with an individual, this role may not be the best fit.

Pros

World-class people and product! Leaders at all levels care deeply about their team member’s success. You will develop professionally at a pace that you don’t believe is possible. From a product standpoint, it’s easy to get behind a product that lives up to its value proposition. I’ve seen it directly impact the lives of our clients employees and it’s what keeps me motivated. Finally, the full compensation package will change your life. From generous base salaries, to PTO and benefit offerings, to stock incentive plans, you will be taken care of and position your family for long-term success.

Cons

Significant adaptability to change is required. As a high-growth company, we must change to innovate.

Pros

$4 lunches, salary, benefits, PTO

Cons

Overall, I would say that if you have no life and thrive on working yourself to the point of ruining your personal life, come work here. I put benefits as a pro and I believe in that. They have $0 copay mental health and a decent healthcare. Unfortunately, you can’t even use them because if you take off for a single day you come back to hundreds of emails. I often have to negotiate the pain of coming back after PTO versus just not taking PTO and being burnt out. The salary at Paycom is fair but not competitive. The sad part is that the pay gaps between everyone in the company is scary. You could be here for 10 years and someone that was hired 2 years ago and was recently promoted makes as much as you. Also, there are people who don’t have anyone reporting to them that make more than those that have 9 people on their team. There is zero possibility for career progression. If you’re looking for a career, keep moving. If you’re looking for a stepping stone to establish some experience and move on to your next journey, welcome aboard!
