Pros

Base salary is literally the only pro BUTTTTT with major strings attached! They always want to throw the base pay in your face daily "You are paid like doctors we expect you to perform like doctors" and "No other sales role has a base of 100k you should feel blessed for this opportunity".... SOOOO TOXIC

Cons

Biggest regret is not listening to all of these reviews...kinda ironic the only good reviews are from managers... RED FLAG???? If you want to work for a company that prides itself on its turnover rates this is the company for you. Managers will tell you only the strong survive... have 2 people left out of 30 people in my hiring class after only 4 months. Clearly, there is a bigger problem as to why the company cannot keep employees. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MENTIONING WORK-LIFE BALANCE!!! I dont even know how Paycom has not faced legal issues for making us work from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm with no lunch break MINIMUM. Most days I would work until 10:00 pm and on weekends, managers would message me at 9:00 pm at night and expect responses. Shady stuff is going on behind the doors in the background! RUNNNNN!

Pros

-the gym at the Grapevine Office is fantastic

Cons

-You will be handed a completely unmanageable workload for which you will not have the training or resources to handle -Super high turnover rate in the PSD department due to burn out. I've never worked anywhere where so many people get fired or quit without notice. A person who has been in this department for a year and a half is considered quite senior. -They'll ease you in with 3 months of training and then drop a crazy amount of work that will require massive amounts of overtime. Be prepared to put in 50 hour weeks just to try and keep up with the workload -They will try to downplay this, but this is call center work in which your every move will be tracked. -You will have to beg your friends to watch your emails(unpaid extra work) whenever you get sick or take time off.

Pros

Benefits, decent pay, Paid time off,

Cons

If you are a recent or future graduate I cannot recommend this job. You will be worked until you hit a breaking point. You won’t have time for anything outside of work M-F and be simply too tired on the weekends to do anything. The pay structure currently limits an increase in pay with no plan to provide raises for doubling and tripling your workload. You will find yourself doing the work of others who are making twice your salary. You will be tied to your desk for 8 hours a day on a headset and be expected to stay late to complete metrics that offer no advancement. You will be stressed and overwhelmed for at least a year, until you are either promoted to a position(that is just as bad) or you leave. This is a call center position marketed as account management. Paycom has good positions, this is not one of them. You will watch people in other positions get to participate and enjoy all of the great things paycom puts on for employees. You will not be able to attend due to the extreme workload. In 6 months, I had 4 different supervisor changes, moved desks 6 times, and was yelled at by clients for 8 hours a day. Do yourself a favor and be careful. If that all sounds like something you can handle: great! But be aware that the idea of doing this and actually doing this are two very different things.
