Pros

Management cares and invests in me both "personally" and professionally. They help me grow and be better. Leadership passes recognition to me for the work I do. Thanks for not taking the credit. =o) Paycom offers me the opportunity to advance based on "performance", not seniority. I like that I can be what I want based on the value I create.

Cons

Everyone moves at a fast pace. There's constant growth which requires "change". Change is sometimes hard, but necessary to accomplish BIG goals. You have to be open to change.

Pros

It is amazing to see the continued growth at Paycom and how that provides opportunity for all employees. I've seen a lot of employees get promoted. A lot of the positions have levels that allow you to receive significant pay increases within the first year. They just recently increased the level of vacation. New employees get a total of 24 days off (2 weeks vacation, 1 week of sick, 3 floating holidays and 6 holidays) and you get more vacation the second year. The $1 health insurance can't be beat and adding that to the total comp package, including 401k and Employee Stock Purchase Program, can't be beat for the OKC area. We also have an onsite gym, catered lunches and lots of cool events.

Cons

Paycom is very much a work hard/play hard company. If that doesn't work for you then don't apply but for those that can manage that, you will grow, stretch and challenge yourself to become better.

The REAL Truth.

Pros

While some see the "culture and benefits" as a pro, that won't keep employees for the long haul. If you quantify pros there could be many, however there aren't really any quality reasons to work here.

Cons

The corporation employee nightmares are made of. Financialization in its most sinister form. Most of the positive reviews are most likely false, employees are terrified they will lose their jobs in most client facing departments. People cry and have panic attacks everyday. It's sad when management claims to know who posts each negative review, no wonder people hide behind fake words. Why wouldn't they post a euphemistic review pretending things are great?

Thank you for the candid feedback. As a current employee, we definitely don’t want you to feel insecure about your job security or for any employees to suffer from issues with anxiety. Secondly, we want employees to know they are heard. This is why we have our Employee Assistance Program and anonymous reporting hotline and we hope you will take the opportunity to use those resources available to you. Regarding Glassdoor reviews, we can definitively say they are completely anonymous and voluntary based on their terms of service and our participation as an employer. We hope you’ll take advantage of the resources available to all Paycom employees.
