Pros

Virtual remote work is great. Benefits. Bonuses.

Cons

I've been a SDE for over 25 years and have worked for many different companies using various technologies and development methodologies. In my opinion, Paycor is one of the worst to work for. Undisciplined, unorganized, and chaotic. There is little communication between product, managers, and teams and way too many upper-level managers whose only concern is meeting sprint goals. The codebase is a horrid amalgamation from hell with little documentation. The amount of software bugs is staggering, and a lot of time is spent on fixing bugs after the fact which is only making customers angry. Oh, and now they want you to work on Saturdays without any additional compensation or benefits. My advice is to stay away.

Pros

Great to have new experiences

Cons

They were not willing to train outsiders how to “think”. What they really wanted was to hire experienced professionals from the small business space and not spend the time training them on how to be in the industry

Pros

Tons of cutting edge business development resources (ie. zoominfo, demandbase, outreach, linkedin nav, etc) that make prospecting easier.

Cons

A revolving door! They no longer hire tenured sales reps, but young inexperienced reps that they can pay less (comp structure is VERY low for the industry too) and put more out there in the market. I cringe when turning my customers over to support as the the support response times are just terrible. Implementation teams are spread so thin that every new customer I onboard comes out of the experience with a bad taste in their mouth. We over promise and under-deliver on the success of implementation projects.
