If you have any genuine interest in the HRIS space, this is not the role for you. If you have an ounce of creativity, this is not the role for you. If you value yourself and the quality of your life, this is DEFINITELY not the role for you. I have worked in implementation for the bulk of my career and understand the complexities that come with the role. However, implementation at Paycor is a special type of chaos where you are not given the tools / trust needed to do your job. You are constantly fighting INTERNAL battles with *every single department.* Every person in tax is a curmudgeon, sales is filled with alpha male personalities who sell with zero integrity, and other internal teams find every possible way to demoralize you and make you feel stupid if you ask for help. Also, don't take a vacation unless you want to be assigned 12 new projects that are already behind schedule while you are out. Your opinions about process, client load, or the work in general do not matter to these people, yet they are always changing things up to "make things more efficient." The most disappointing aspect of Paycor is they recognize employee dissatisfaction, promise to do better, but they never do. The leaders in this company are way too far removed from its employees to implement effective change. The attrition rate (people leaving the company) is too high for them to really invest in the people that are stuck there. I felt an incredible amount of shame and self doubt working at Paycor and I am so happy and relieved to no longer be there.
