Pros

The people at Paycor create a great environment each day. Everyone on our team genuinely cares about one another and about the success of the company. We are committed to accomplishing our goals and want to work hard for each other and Paycor. I enjoy getting out of bed and going to work each day, something I could not say at my previous employer. The environment is fast-paced and challenging. If you're not up to test your skills or work in a dynamic environment, Paycor is not the right fit for you. The industry we work in is constantly changing, so we're challenged to keep on our toes about what's happening across the industry to best serve our clients. Exposure to executives is like nothing I've experienced before. Paycor's Chief Human Resources Officer's door is always open and she takes pride in knowing associates by name. She frequently asks about my family and genuinely cares for the well-being of employees. The same can be said for leaders across different departments. There is also a tremendous sense of community which comes to life through Paycor's commitment to serving others and supporting those in need. Finally, Paycor offers very flexible arrangements to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Leadership trusts associates to get the job done and to perform at a high level, and we're rewarded with flexibility to also take care of matters outside of the office.

Cons

With any company, times of change can greatly impact associates. Paycor takes a proactive approach to communicating openly and honestly about change. Improvements should be made to maternity/paternity leave policies. Other employers are taking a progressive approach to providing better leave accommodations for employees, and I'd like to see Paycor re-examine the maternity/paternity policies offered to associates.

Thanks for sharing your insights into Paycor's work environment. Thanks too for offering the idea about leave practices. We are actively working with our broker to evaluate family leave options with the possibility of a new plan in 2018.

Pros

Paycor is an amazing place to work! They really do live by their guiding principles and I see it and experience it on almost a daily basis. I have worked at other companies and specifically other payroll companies so I have a frame of reference to compare Paycor to. Everyone that I interact with here are very helpful and will go above and beyond what is asked of them. Whether it is our CEO, VP of Sales, or an employee in our client service department. They all want to do what is right for the client and for each other. Not only do they put our clients first, but they also want care and take of their employees as well. Paycor has the best products in the marketplace with the best service to back it up. I love my job and I enjoy coming to work everyday. Not many people can say that!

Cons

I have nothing negative to say about working at Paycor.

Thanks for sharing your Paycor experience. Thanks too for reinforcing the importance of pulse checks and "listening tours". We plan to visit many of the field Sales offices this Fall to talk about the business and your interests.
