      A company that lives up to their reputation and their word

      Pros

      This is a company made up of people who care about what they do and about who they work around. The engagement committee is one of the areas that makes this company a special place to work. It is obvious that Paylocity cares about their employees and about their employees experience. Everything I was told from my friends that worked here previous to me and everything I was told in my on-boarding was accurate. Paylocity is a growing company that still cares.

      Cons

      The means to which someone uses to submit paperwork and hiring information can be a little cumbersome. Especially if you are unable to use a computer. When trying to submit things or enter things from the mobile platform, it can be frustrating.

      Pros

      Executive leadership is doing very good job guiding company through stock market. Company offers great positions with good salaries and benefits. Many employees have been here for a very long time which proves that company is doing great job retaining good employees.

      Cons

      While understanding that company that grows at 30% (SALES) there should be more stability in IT departments. We seem to be changing a lot of managers, re organizing teams all the time which gets to be annoying after a while.

      Mostly good, but no workplace is perfect

      Pros

      Great culture and many talented people; Excellent ongoing training; Work hard but also play hard and try to help employees keep a balance; Good products and invest a lot into continued development; Leadership is approachable and transparent; Many opportunities to move into new positions and grow with the company.

      Cons

      Difficult to keep up with growth (a good problem but a problem nonetheless) and no real plan to manage growth; operational inefficiencies and silos take away from ability to provide outstanding service to clients; Company culture and few perks such as some free lunches and picnics do not make up for compensation being on the low end. The company and HR will have you believe it's such an amazing place to work that there's nothing like it out there - this is not the case, but many employees are stuck in this belief and don't command what they're worth, which stagnates the organization.
