Pros

They were all taken away - no fully remote, and competitive pay is gone.

Cons

Over the past few years, I’ve observed a notable decline in the performance and culture of Paylocity. The root of the problem seems to stem from toxic leadership and leaders who are out of touch with the company’s true needs. Many of them appear to lack the expertise and knowledge to guide the team effectively. Communication has become a significant issue. Instructions are often unclear, and there’s a lack of transparency in expectations. It’s frustrating to be reprimanded for tasks that were never communicated to us in the first place. The constant miscommunication has made it challenging to execute projects efficiently and has created a tense work environment. The potential of Paylocity is immense, but the current state of leadership and communication has hindered our ability to reach that potential. Constructive feedback and open lines of communication are essential for any company to thrive, and I sincerely hope that the leaders recognize this and work towards creating a more inclusive and transparent environment for all employees.

Pros

The teamwork for me was great.

Cons

I do feel like we were thrown into the fire really fast. But I'm more concerned with the new change in upper leadership. I have kept in contact with my old team. Some of which have made it to management. And in every field it feels the same something towards the top has changed. And for the worst. I used to swear by the company and working for them. But I don't think I can anymore.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Your feedback is important, and we want you to know that at Paylocity, our employees are our top priority. We hear your concerns about the recent changes in leadership and value your perspective. We highly encourage employees to express any concerns with their direct supervisor. Should they have an escalation and need to connect with someone on the HR team confidently - that is also an option as we want to ensure our employees feel supported.

Pros

Benefits Remote Good reputation due to product and sales support Many accolades (success of company's progression)

Cons

DEI practice is inconsistent and irrelevant to internal staff Unqualified 'leaders' to manage staff - zero experience and zero knowledge on how to treat everybody equal New leaders want to change a lot of things but does not think though - unprofessional Leaders practiced favoritism if they are intimidated by you Leaders are reactive and not proactive. They like to give empty promises HR act as puppet and plays favoritism Salary low
