Pros

Nice offices, free fruits and nuts, ability to work remotely.

Cons

Publicly advertises remote recruiting based on a Talent anywhere philosophy but leadership positions now must be onsite....even for positions where the team is remote? Most changes are rolled out to protest from the experienced employees and rolled back several months later once it is proven to be an ineffective or incomplete change. On top of endless product changes, now there are endless process changes as well. Nepotism is alive and well here. If you got friends or family here, you're in and a perfect fit for a promotion. Not qualified for anything? No problem, decide your own job! Unbeatable together... except the right hand never knows what the left is doing here. Three bosses will tell you contradicting information in the same day. When you inquire further they will tell you they'll get back to you, or they'll lie to you, or they'll tell you nothing makes sense and no one knows. I'd be curious to know if the executive goal is to have a company living up to its values or making it to the billion dollar goal they keep talking about. There is a terrible trend to make people do the job they want to "prove" they are suited for it. So instead of recognizing the skills necessary to be successful in a role, and then identifying if an employee has or doesn't have that skill set.... this company will say, "You want to be a manager? Well managers have to do these four reports every month....why don't you take over these duties for me and we'll see how you do" I honestly cannot tell if this is out of laziness or stupidity. Since the company is always chasing the competitive edge, it never has the bandwidth to develop features past the initial minimum viable status. It feels like everyone who cared is gone and its just a money beast now.
