      Pros

      Successful company. Pay is good. Coworkers are generally smart people. Generous budget for tools and hardware.

      Cons

      Infrastructure is a mess...bad technical decisions made years ago have resulted in huge gaps and out-of-date processes Strange technical decisions by management, lots of "it's working right now so why change it" going on. Influencing technical decisions or pushing for change is extremely difficult. Actual progress is rare. Documentation is very poor. New employee onboarding process is not a good first experience to have with the company. General lack of organization. Management spends most of their time onboarding new customers or fighting fires. Toxic culture: frequent bickering, passive aggressive notes and emails. Physical office environment is, for lack of better words, depressing. Related to the above, turnover is high.

      Pros

      - Very fast paced - Ability to work with many different technologies - Most employees are a pleasure to work with - There are always efforts to improve the workplace - Flexible work hours if required - Free catered lunch on Fridays

      Cons

      - Even though the people are nice to work with, the company culture is borderline toxic - Little to no appreciation of the good results produced by employees which leads to a high turnover rate - Zero room to move up and gain new responsibility. Management prefers to hire from the outside for senior positions, rather then promote from the inside. - No opportunity to focus when faced with a constant stream of interruptions every single day - Very difficult to have any new initiative gain traction if it's coming from anyone else other than upper management - When there are actual new initiatives put in place, there is no real consultation with the rest of the team - While there are always efforts to improve the company culture, they fall flat and are forgotten very quickly

      Pros

      Stellar group of employees and management with a singular focus on driving new business and being a change agent in the payments industry. It great to be associated with something exciting! Senior leadership team is one of the most knowledgeable that I've worked with. Paymentus gives you the opportunity to work independently knowing that the resources and knowledge base are there to assist when needed. Paymentus will give you the tools and support to succeed if you are driven. Hard working group, but very family focused culture.

      Cons

      As with any growing company, Paymentus has its growing pains. The leadership team is aware and working to add key people across the organization to keep it running smoothly. Several great hires recently that have deepened the bench.
