      Pros

      Adequate PPE during the pandemic.

      Cons

      Willing to pay travelers 4x to fill staffing shortages, rather than pay staff hazard pay or retention bonuses. Upper management is tone deaf to the trauma caused by caring for COVID patients.

      Stressful, frenetic, constant crisis comms, atmosphere of fear cloaked in sugary sweet platitudes

      You learn a lot about strategic communication. Hats off to mission driven employees who inspire.

      Cons

      Constant expectation from micromanaging bosses to deliver above and beyond everyday and fear of reprisal if you falter even once in a never ending pattern of crisis communications. Burnout is inevitable.
