      Mission was great, but changes were challenging

      Pros

      I loved the folks I worked with in Bellingham. People there were really nice and people cared about each other.

      Cons

      Changes in health care in a college, under-employed town were extremely challenging. It brought stress and morale down. I did experience favoritism and it was frustrating to see the mananger do that, when she knew it wasn't ethical.

      Pros

      Great basic hospital in patient experience. Outpatient experience possible also. never a shortage of hours to pick up.

      Cons

      People are very cliquish, a few people do most of the work the rest of them sit around. Management encourages bad behavior.

      Pros

      The "average-joe" employees are wonderful! Most of them take great pride in their work, which is the only thing PeaceHealth has going for them.

      Cons

      For a non-profit hospital, they are ALL about the bottom line. So much so, they sacrifice patient safety!
