      Pros

      I worked there a long time pay was adequate lots of OT benefits were ok Biggest problem and why I left after 20 years -the place is full of BULLIES some very unhappy type people work there who like to make trouble for others (look for it rather than support staff) write each other up incessantly I was in the float pool for many years-a BULLY on every floor Things change and they haven't gotten better there

      The staff here is awesome. No drama. Everyone works hard for the most part.

      Cons

      You’re working for a hospital that obviously cares more about their bottom line than its employees. Seems to be a trend in healthcare. New manager isn't familiar with running a big department which results in poor communication, understaffing, forgetting to follow through. Seems overwhelmed with the administrative part so he doesn’t spend very much time with the staff in order to better understand the flow of our department.

      Extremely toxic, no matter what department you work in. If you value your mental health and want appreciation, this isnt the employer for you.
