Senior management is beyond out of touch; they promise their state and national clients far more than they have the technical capacity to deliver. It goes beyond just being desperate for contracts and it is a genuine lack of understanding of technology. Anyone who appreciates tech should run from Pearson as fast as possible.
Job opportunities are mostly lateral. Pearson puts zero effort into professional development.
It is very much just a stereotypical, out of touch, large corporation. No one should want to work here though it's understandable that people need work and thus will.
Bottom line: if you're young and desire personal growth and challenges this is not where you want to be.
