Growing Quickly, but no work life balance

Cons

Lots of talk about work-life balance, but the work load does not support it. Open office plan concept isn't for everyone.

Thanks so much for writing this review. We hear you load and clear, and we are acting with Velocity to remedy the situation. There is always a lot of lip service paid at companies around work life balance. Well, we are committed to resolve the issue. A big part of work life balance is hiring. Our company is growing so fast, that to put it simply, we haven't been able to hire as quickly as we would like. We can assure you we are thinking outside the box here. For example, in November the executive team made what is equivalent to a $6 million dollar investment in LinkedIn. That investment made it possible for every employee of Velocity Global to have a LinkedIn Recruiter License, this is huge. No other company has ever done this. It gives all of our "Owner-Employees" at tool to reach out to all of their friends, family members and former colleagues to encourage them to apply. Unlike other companies, we empower all our employees to help build an amazing company and create a culture that gives back not only to our fellow teammates, but to our communities and the world. Please, please, please be patient. Take the advice our CEO gave today in our meeting. Take the time you need this holiday season to recharge. And when you have a moment, reach out to your friends, family members, and former colleagues with your LinkedIn recruiter seat and invite them to the apply to our open roles. Tell them we are growing rapidly, so they may have to put in a little extra time initially, but it will be worth it. Thanks again for all you do that we don't see.
