Wow, we really need to do a better job of making sure people are taking their PTO. For those who are reading this post, if you are looking for a hyper growth company, one growing at 100% YoY, then Velocity Global is for you. If you are not looking to join a company going through hyper-growth, Velocity Global may not be the best option. However, hyper-growth is usually the best environment for someone who is trying to learn a great deal in a short amount of time. Working for a high growth company you will learn in one year what it will take your friends to learn in three, working for an average, slow paced company. Working for hyper-growth company also means you will have the ability to try lots of new things. Hyper growth is driven by your innovative ideas. Things that you have always wanted to do with other companies but you were unable to, most times you will given the freedom to explore with a hyper-growth company. Lastly, working for a hyper-growth company, if the company remains fiscally responsible, usually pays dividends in form of equity. Imagine what it felt like working for Facebook, Amazon or Google during their hyper-growth phase. Can you imagine the wealth of those employees who put in the "werk" during those early days of hyper-growth?
