Accepting a position with Pegasus is the worst decision I have ever made!

Pros

The residents and vendors were awesome and were truly the only good part of any given day. The money that Pegasus allows to be spent on resident parties and leasing specials is like no other! Unfortunately, by doing this this the budget is constantly blown every month and that always falls back on the Property Manager. But the residents always had a great time!

Cons

Regional Manager was horrible. Staff was extremely disrespectful and lazy. I feel as I was set up for failure and I didn't ever have a chance to succeed in the position I was hired for. I was forced to offer ridiculous and unnecessary leasing and move-in specials that always caused my budget to be blown. I was made to answer for this even though I didn't feel the specials were necessary nor was the number of huge resident activities that I was forced to plan and do necessary either.

Pay scale OK, So -So benefits.

Cons

Commissions difficult to collect. No work /life balance: touted as "we have fun- work hard- play hard!" That is a philosophy behind the times Multiple staff changes . I witnessed 2 managers, two assistant managers,one long-time leasing professional and a service manager change in less than 5 month period at one property!

We certainly do work hard but we also offer some of the very best benefits , PTO packages and incentive programs in the industry because we value our teams even more. We seek only the best and we DO have a work hard, play hard mentality.

The salary is competitive but the management isn’t worth the sacrifices.

Cons

Poor regional management, lack of corporate management, overall the pig doesn’t know where it’s flying ... it relys on the regional pigs words and for that they loose many valuable employees and increase their liability to the company! Beware!
