Pros

They sometimes will let you eat lunch. If it is a good time for them to let you. But you’re not allowed to eat on Saturdays.

Cons

{BEWARE if the review is from Georgia. It’s a corporate employee} If this isn’t a high school dynamic of a company, I don’t know what is. The amount of drama within the company you hear about on a daily basis is astounding and highly inappropriate. They couldn’t care less about their employees. If you are not “corporate” then you will be talked down to, belittled, and patronized. In the interview process they will lie about the location you are going to, glamorize it, then you’ll get there only to find it’s a complete mess of a place in an unsafe area. When you try to explain in great detail to them the things your location needs to succeed, they will say “no, you just need leases,” and that’ll be the end of it. They will throw you in with little to no training and leave you out to die with no support. God forbid you ask for help or try to get in contact with anyone above you, they will treat you like a temporary employee at all times and just tell you to “figure it out.” The pay is awful. Since they are rapidly losing employees they are scrambling and will ask you every time you are off to go work at another location. On the days you DO have off they will call you, text you, and call you again. Vacation days? Don’t exist. Good luck accruing PTO. And when you finally do, they will question your requested time off and shame you for it. Don’t apply for a promotion either. They will ignore it for days then laugh at you. Any chance they can rip you off from your commission, they will. I don’t know who the founders handed over responsibilities to, but with all the law suits they are receiving, they should start reevaluating all of their corporate employees FAST. This company is going under and I suggest you stay FAR far away from it.

Pros

Pay, benefits, and nothing else.

Cons

Work-life balance nonexistent, constant micromanaging, very limited access to hands on training, upper management doesn't follow policies set forth by company, written counseling instead of verbal and no chance to defend oneself, favoritism, hostile workplace, little to no advancement opportunities, residents and their opinions mean (and are believed) more than employees.

Pegasus Residential Response

While we thank you for recognizing the pay and benefits, we are sad that you had a poor experience. Please reach out to HR or me personally if you want to discuss your challenges further. (wdorchester@pegasusresidential.com). Many of our associates have not had the same experience you have had; we have had lower turn over (15% lower than the industry average) and more promotions in 2018 than in the past few years. We care and we appreciate your honesty. Thank you.
