Pros

Medical Benefits are great but employees pay a high premium. They have some really good people working here.

Cons

1. They Do Not Lead By Example - Upper Management (Regional Managers, VPs, CEO) portray themselves as "high performers" and "positive leaders". But, in reality it's a front to convince employees to drink their koolaid. In actuality, they miss deadlines, they fall short on meeting objectives, they don't follow policy and they miss manage tasks as well. 2. Zero work life balance 3. Their expectation level is a moving and unrealistic target. Once you get to the perceived expectation level, you are told that it's not good enough. 4. They don't pay their bills on time. 90 day to 120 days late 5. Commissions are scrutinized by corporate personnel with the goal to reduce the amount of commissions before approving them to be paid out. The criteria to be paid for commissions is like no other industry standard. I've had colleagues lose out on thousands of dollars in commissions. 6. They use fear and surprise tactics to manage employees (my regional manager did not want me to inform my staff that I was resigning)

Thanks. Old review, but wanted to reply. A lot has changed in our culture today and we are super proud of those changes. A recent employee survey shows employees are very happy. We appreciate your feedback and take it very seriously.

Pros

Culture, Support, Growth, Involvement, Compensation, & Benefits to name a few! At the start of every job I’ve had, I’ve always been told things like, “We value your opinion,” “We love to promote from within,” and “We care about each employee as an individual, not a number!” I’ve truly never worked anywhere where those phrases were more than just words... until I started my career with Pegasus Residential! I’ve been fortunate enough to learn from several regionals who immediately took notice of my efforts and hard work. I’ve been asked to be involved in more than just my local job on-site which has allowed me to expand my knowledge in the field of property management and actually develop a true passion in areas that I may not have had access to without their care and suggestions to involve me. I’m asked for my input on a regular basis and also get to listen to wonderful and helpful ideas from other team members in my region on a regular basis. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people over the past 3 years both at the manager’s conference and while traveling on business. Pegasus has some of the brightest, kindest, and most dedicated employees that I have ever met from the top down! Yes- I work HARD... and pull some long hours at times, but then again, Pegasus isn’t for everyone! They demand the best of our abilities for their clients, which they should- they deserve no less! Thank you Debbie & Lindy for continuing to give me this amazing opportunity to feel valued, feel like I can continue to grow, and also know that I’m not just another number!

Cons

Too many properties assigned to Regionals. More attention/ needs could be met for the Managers and on-site teams if they weren’t pulled so many different directions. Need more one on one training for new managers when hired.
