Pros

Pay and benefits are great. Co-workers were great too and knowledgeable.

Cons

The seem to not care about anything but production and when the line performs well, management is rewarded, not the line workers. Management only seems to side with other management. Employee issues and opinions are brushed off like they are irrelevant.

Pros

Pella has an incredible brand name recognition. So many individuals recognize the name of Pella that it can make life in Sales easier. Your customers are either wanting to work with you or because of the name or if you are prospecting to work with them they will know the name of Pella windows & Doors. Pella does try and have success with innovation in recent years. Not every innovation exceeds the last however they are truly trying to make an impact on the fenestration industry and have quite a bit of success with Market Share.

Cons

You can purchase Pella from multiple different locations and segments of businesses. Independent branches, Lowes, Lumber Yards, Online, Etc.... For the sales team this means their biggest competition is themselves. This is frustrating as a sales rep however from the higher ups at Pella completely does make sense even though reps will continue to be upset by this decision. Pella has struggled since COVID. The fenestration industry exploded since COVID and a lot of smaller businesses struggled and fizzled out. This left the top players like Pella however Pella is still struggling with manufacturing. Now to be fair so has the competition but Pella has voiced being a reliable company and is setting incorrect expectations due to high demand and low supply. To make matters more troublesome the competition is starting to find success in this area it seems which is hurting the morale of the field sales team.
