Pros

Pella's longstanding history and reputation brought me through the door. Their benefits, focus on development, family-friendly environment, flexible schedule and the way they treat their people make me stay. As a parent, the flexible schedule is imperative during this time and I've received nothing but support from my manager and peers. Work-life balance is better than any organization I've worked for. Most people I've talked to and worked with thus far have been here for anywhere from 10-40 years with very different career paths. They really focus on the individual's strengths and development instead of a one-track career path.

Cons

Not having many people in the office is kind of a morale bummer but Pella has done great things finding tools to implement as much virtual face-to-face time as possible. The vacation and sick leave policies could use some work, especially for those in manufacturing.
