It seems good at first.

Pros

The salary is okay, benefits are outstanding.

Cons

The management had no concern whatsoever about employees. They promised to make things better and would not accept my two weeks notice, however nothing changed. This company started as something great. I have seen three CEOs working there and it has gotten progressively worst. Board of directors refuse to do anything about it. Employees fear for their jobs every day. The highest turnovers have occurred within the past year.

Pros

The only positive were the people I worked with in my branch.

Cons

The upper management (regional managers, etc.) are terrible. Very inconsistent, they tell you one thing and the next day try to tell you that's not how it is done...they obviously have communication problems and don't clearly talk things out within themselves. They cause lots of stress for front line people, which makes sense that everyone is leaving or trying to go back office.

Pros

Members!! Pen Air needs to remember why that have achieved what they have today because of loyalty of the members!

Cons

Pen Air believes that changing everything that has made them great and completely ignoring how it makes employees feel ok. Upper management has NO clue how day to day branch operations run and simply don't care!

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that your experience isn't what you had hoped. Our members are, and will continue to be, the reason we exist; they are our top priority. We agree that Pen Air is great! However, if our approach to business does not adapt to changing market competition and economic conditions, Pen Air's strength will be diminished, along with our ability to serve our members. Upper management doesn't know all the details of day to day branch operations; that is why front line employees from the branches were involved in the creation and implementation of our current business approach. Selling products is not our focus; rather, we build relationships with our members so that we can properly advise them on products/services that best meet their needs.
