Pros

PBH is a great place to work that offers growth within the company and prioritizes their employees work-life balance over the bottom line.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

The agency as a whole is very supportive of staff and provides lots of opportunities to develop as professionals. The work is very rewarding as someone who wants to work with people who have a high level of need.

Cons

Community behavioral health can be a stressful setting due to high intensity of needs, full caseloads, and limited resources available to the agency. Staff turnover is higher in this field than many, although PBH has many long-term staff and seems committed to improving employee retention.
