Pros

As a member of the call support center team at Penn Foster, I can confidently say that it is an exceptional company to work for. The supportive environment, opportunities for growth, and meaningful work make it stand out as a top choice for anyone seeking a fulfilling career. One of the most remarkable aspects of working at Penn Foster is the supportive team environment. From day one, I have felt welcomed and valued by my colleagues and supervisors. There's a genuine spirit of collaboration and camaraderie that makes every workday enjoyable. Moreover, Penn Foster offers ample opportunities for professional growth and development. Whether it's through training programs, mentorship opportunities, or internal promotions, the company is committed to helping employees reach their full potential. I've personally benefited from these initiatives, which have enabled me to enhance my skills and take on new challenges. The flexibility offered by Penn Foster is another highlight. The company understands the importance of work-life balance and provides flexible scheduling options that accommodate various lifestyles and commitments. This flexibility has been instrumental in maintaining a healthy work-life harmony. Above all, the work we do at Penn Foster is incredibly meaningful. As part of the call support center team, I have the privilege of assisting students from diverse backgrounds as they pursue their educational goals. It's incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey and witness the positive impact our support has on their lives. In conclusion, Penn Foster is not just a workplace; it's a community where employees are empowered to thrive and make a difference. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an exceptional company and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a fulfilling career.

Cons

Working at Penn Foster has been an overwhelmingly positive experience, characterized by a supportive environment, growth opportunities, and meaningful work. However, it's important to address the ongoing transition as the company moves its operations to Arizona, which includes the current phase-out process.

Pros

Management was always supportive and friendly. I always felt like I had people cheering me on and pushing me to be my best

Cons

The pay just isn’t worth the stress of talking to people all day, everyday. The bonus structure works well if you’re in the top tier, but isn’t worth it if you’re not one of the top 10 specialists.

Pros

The current programs give students opportunities they would have never had at other schools.

Cons

They let all of the student services reps know their positions will be terminated over the next 6 months. Then posted new positions at a higher rate of pay. Now, all of the people that talk directly to students will be replaced by new, untrained people using only chat to connect to students.
