Pros

Co-workers are great. It is nice to be able to work from home. Happy with benefit package and time off.

Cons

Academic advocates are being paid additional money to take phone calls related to the students academic questions. They usually do not want to take the phone calls and this is wrong, not all of them but most in that dept. People should do their job to the best of their ability and take the phone calls they are supposed to take. I take my job seriously and do my job to the best of my ability. I get proper training and ask questions if I need additional help. The IT liaisons should have proper training also. One IT liaison has been there a long time and is wonderful. The person I have to deal with usually just says to re start your computer if he does not know how to fix the issue. It is frustrating when people are in a job they are being paid additional money for and are not properly trained. People need to ask questions and learn if they do not know how to do something. I have never seen Penn Foster this bad where people could just say, I don't want to do my job. It is very sad. When I started we were trained properly and if you did not know something, you learned and asked questions.

I love working here, but the pay is too low.

Pros

The people are so good. They are welcoming and understanding. It is the perfect environment to work in, people-wise. The job is also fairly easy.

Cons

The low pay is the only drawback.
