Casual environment; full-time hours (with seasonal overtime available); no neck-ties required; no call scripts; not as strict as most call centers; honesty with customers is encouraged; no college degree required; frequent promotion opportunities available (although many positions do require a degree); most career opportunities outside the front-line are stable and long-lasting

Cons

No raises; poor bonus incentives; must constantly meet sales goals or be under the threat of firing; must have thick skin for outbound calls; selling an expensive product to a low-income market; advertisements and marketing often work at cross-purposes with the Admissions/Sales team; the sales technology employed by the company was outdated even in 1999; must leave the front-line position to have job security
