Pros

decent stipend for RA, the Prof. doesn't micromanage the TA's, very nice campus and town, many research opportunities, State College is a great area for outdoors activities, many bars and restaurants downtown

Cons

mandatory training for many things, can fall through the cracks in a Uni this big, large campus means lots of walking (get a bike!), Penn State nickel and dimes the students

Pros

The work was easy. I was basically standing all day and not many people showed up in the first day. Free lunch voucher and free temp housing is also great.

Cons

The pay can be a bit higher.

Pros

-Sharpen teamwork skills -Train new students -Multi-task -Learn how to operate in an effecient manor

Cons

The Penn State South dining hall is the largest dining hall on campus. We serve close to 7,000 students per day. One of the cons of South dining hall is the fact that they occasionally run out of certain items within their inventory.
