Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn! Animal studies, real life cases, working closely with suppliers, prototyping. Great group of people! Everyone is super nice and the office has a great culture! Fairly equal gender ratios in R&D. On site is really nice. Also flexible with hybrid (depending on department). A growing company with cool people! I’d recommend! Really good work life balance!

Cons

Pay isn’t amazing compared to other companies in the Bay Area. They do offer stock rewards though for hard work. Used AutoCAD a bit which is outdated in other companies (so not as applicable if you move somewhere else). Can keep you working on fairly iterative projects (so the same things for some time). But if you talk to you managers, you might be able to move to a different project!

Most supervisors are understanding and encourage skill development and position growth. Benefits are good. Work environment isn't stressful.

Cons

Recent changes to tighten leave policy. Work load can vary greatly.
