Pros

You have a job that pays the bills

Cons

Everything else that comes with the job. Drama within coworkers, uncared for by the supervisors. Lack of action by HR/management. Incompetent HR, with no sort of resolution or action. Out of touch supervisors/managers/directors. MULTIPLE compliance issues. A couple of perverted/unprofessional/insulting/inappropriate supervisors. What else. You need to sign in/out if you need to use the bathroom break as if you are a child in gradeschool, (sounds like a bathroom break violation anyone? ) There is not a single thing that can be said that’s good about this company excluding a couple of genuine good people. I don’t understand how this company is still running. I’m expecting there to be at least a couple handful of lawsuits in the coming future.

Pros

Remote flexible work culture Good work life balance Interesting work if you like dealing with hardware Some really great Engineers to work with

Cons

Penumbra RealSystem is betting the farm on just one very large possible customer--while somewhat ignoring existing customers. Completely unrealistic expectations and lack of technical leadership from the top down. Extreme whack a mole crisis driven management ignoring concerns from senior technical folks until the situations turn out to be a full blown crisis. Repeat this often for most situations and issues. From the top down, important events such as massive layoffs will be labeled as "confidential" where even key technical folks won't know. Future very uncertain.
