Pros

My time spent supporting the Creative Team at Penumbra was invaluable. Despite organizational stress when a novel craft is run and built concurrently- forced to balance stability and innovation- I am proud of the work I did and wish my former coworkers great success.

Cons

Although I’ve grown tremendously in managing brand systems, cross-functional collaboration, and creative leadership, I’m now looking to apply that experience in a more creatively driven environment where storytelling and design innovation are central to the role.

Hands down the absolute worst place I've worked

Pros

A few decent co-workers aside from that, nothing.

Cons

Everything having to do with Penumbra. You do not want to be anywhere near the COS/FSO team. You will be disrespected, chastised, micro-managed and overworked to death. Dull, bland non-existent culture. They can't even get any new employees for the Cos team. They had to hire contractors from India. The sales reps in the field are rude, pushy and very dishonest. Working with these people will make your skin crawl. The pay is very low, the benefits are very expensive. Vacation time is accrued. Management is racist/discriminatory - so are the sales reps. They coddle there faves. Excuse mistakes made by them. Products they sell are dangerous - suspected in the past to present 2025 of causing fatalities. Reps are not conscietous about removing old stock from hospitals. Reps always pulling fast ones to not follow rules. Reps take inventory from hospitals and try to make hospital pay twice. Reps blame FSO for mistakes reps make. No accountability for sales reps.
