Good place to work, flexible and fair

Pros

Flexible schedules. Although we do have to account for our hours and bill them to the correct charge numbers (client or in-house billing), we have a lot of autonomy regarding hours -- and the option of something called a 9/80 schedule (working 80 hours in 9 workdays over 2 weeks, instead of 10 workdays -- so we get every other Friday off).

Cons

Working remotely, it's hard to get to know anyone very well. I miss having colleagues I know. I go into the office every other month or so, but my team never gets together as a group in person, and no one is particularly friendly. It's hard even to get anyone to go for a cup of coffee, let alone a beer after work.

Pros

If you work on a well tan project or program with good people, it’s good.

Cons

….on a poorly run program with unpleasant people…of course not so great.
