They only take care of you if they need you

Pros

If you are needed you get flexibility and decent pay.

Cons

They make promises that they never seem to keep. You get strung along until you decide enough is enough or they no longer need you They treat hourly workers poorly and take advantage of them on a constant basis.

Pros

Small, productive culture. I really enjoyed my time with PerfectServe. You'll learn a lot and contribute to a meaningful product. Coworkers are smart and generally quite driven. Because it's a smaller organization the politics are minimal compared to other places I've worked.

Cons

PerfectServe can take over if you let it -- you'll work longer hours than expected and clients can be quite demanding, but that's true of any business.
