Pros

Working at PerfectServe was a truly enriching experience that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. Here are some of the highlights that made this journey remarkable: Innovative Work Environment: PerfectServe fosters a culture of innovation, encouraging employees to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to real-world problems. It was refreshing to be part of a team that constantly challenged the status quo and sought better ways to serve our customers. Talented and Supportive Team: The R&D team at PerfectServe is filled with brilliant minds who are not only experts in their respective fields but also incredibly supportive and collaborative. The camaraderie among team members made the workplace feel like a second home. Opportunities for Growth: The company places a strong emphasis on employee development, offering various learning and training opportunities. I was able to attend workshops and conferences that helped me stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Meaningful Projects: As a software development engineer, I had the privilege of working on projects that had a direct impact on healthcare communication. Knowing that our efforts were improving patient care and saving lives made every day at work more meaningful. Work-Life Balance: PerfectServe values work-life balance, and I always appreciated the flexibility and understanding from management when it came to personal commitments.

Cons

While my experience at PerfectServe was overwhelmingly positive, it's essential to highlight areas where improvements can be made: Communication between Departments: Occasionally, there were communication gaps between different departments, which sometimes led to delays in project timelines. Streamlining interdepartmental communication could further improve the efficiency of project execution. Benefits Package: While the overall benefits package was satisfactory, it could be enhanced to include more wellness programs and additional perks to further support employee well-being.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback. We agree with all of it, and are working hard to address the opportunities you call out, especially the one regarding cross-department collaboration. This continues to be a focus area for the company. -PerfectServe PeopleOps Team

Pros

Very flexible hours and rarely work long hours A lot of holidays off Half day Fridays in summer Pay is good

Cons

Seeming reluctance to invest in their products, especially in the tech space. It seems like for every 2 people that leave we hire one replacement. While still expecting the products to be maintained and new features to be developed. Benefits are okay, but not good Rarely ever see or talk to my manager (couple times in a year), although some might see that as a pro No career/promotion plan or any real feedback about my role. Lots of tech debt and no real plan to timeline to do anything about it

Thank you for your feedback. We like your apartment analogy. Senior leaders are constantly discussing what's the right balance between innovation (the new floors) and stability (enhancing the foundation). Our customer need and expect both. In 2022, we believe we made some really good progress in both areas. As we head into 2023, we know our tech leaders are having a lot of the same discussions, and we're confident we will land on the right balance. - PerfectServe PeopleOps Team
