      Disastrous Disloyalty: A Company Sinking in Benefits, Pay, and Job Security

      Pros

      Work-life balance isn't terrible, thanks to project-focused schedules, but it's hardly a silver lining in a storm of layoffs and inadequate perks.

      Cons

      This company fails its employees on every front – from paltry benefits and mediocre pay to a complete absence of job security. Layoffs come without warning or severance, leaving staff stranded without recourse. With a sinking ship of dwindling clients and a heartless HR policy that sees employees as disposable commodities, this is a workplace to flee from, not to thrive in.

      A Lonely Experience

      Pros

      - No micromanaging (basically you're own your own, so if you're know what you're doing then you're going to love it) - Flexible time off - Job security (so far) - Work life balance is excellent - Smart and competent teammates

      Cons

      - Raises are terrible (last year was about 3% and bonuses were about 4%) - Super high turnover since we aren't getting paid properly - Seriously, the pay is crazy. I would make about 30% more elsewhere - Lonely. I've worked at Perficient for two years and as a lead individual contributor, I don't get many chances to work with other people or bigger teams. That means that in two years on the same client, I've only worked with about 10-15 other employees. Perficient made no effort to welcome me to the team, nobody reached out to welcome me or get to know me, and nobody seems to care. There are some sad remote "bonding" events that almost nobody attends, but it's just a cold and isolated culture at Perficient.

      Leadership, favoritism, massive egos in management, unethical quotes, gaming projects to drive change requests, WAY over priced, unrealistic expectations from billable Directors, forced employee satisfaction surveys, backstabbing, and two-faced competing directors.
