Pros

Some benefits provided included legalShield services

Cons

There are too many chiefs to report upstream. They hired you as Tech Lead and you perform just another junior softdev role. No sign on bonus. No payment relocation. Long time delays between interviewing and hiring.

Pros

1. The only pro is the ability to WFH. 2. Free access to Udemy with your Perficient email ID.

Cons

1. Toxic culture from the top down. Managers will tell you how you are supposed to do your work and you are supposed to follow to the T, you cannot voice your opinion if you do they will supress you and give false feedback. 2. No support from manager, never responds to emails/chats, will never show on 1:1 and or just before 5 mins before the meeting ends, learn to value others time. Only cares you are billable. This is the case with every manager within this dept, all employees are unhappy with their managers and have some complain or the other but cannot escalate as people are worried about their job. 3. There was never a proper onboarding. They will hire you even though there are no projects and quickly terminate you without any severance. 4.Read all the recent negative reviews which are absolutely true. This company has no proper direction, they will move you from one project to another, don't expect any growth here. They only have projects which big consulting companies reject. 5. Managers don't know how to run a project. I was working in a project which was completely a mess, when the manager was terminated by the client, she started crying loudly during the teams meeting. Not sure if this is a drama company or IT consulting. 6. Micromangement at its best. PM will ask you questions such as - what are you working on (Teams message at 9 AM). In my 10+ years of experience, I have never been asked this question. 7. They will force you to falsely submit the survey and post on LinkedIn that they have been awarded as the "top 25 company" to work for. Mind you the top manager knows who is submitting the survey and will keep on sending you reminders that you have to submit the survey.

Unfortunate turn of events - they used to be good

Pros

None in the last year

Cons

Perficient continues to be in trouble. Many good people are no longer there. The new CEO promoted all of the VPs to SVPs for no reason at all beyond paying them more and bigger titles. The work environment is extremely toxic. If you have an opinion or experience that differs from leadership you have no chance at growing your career there. The business has been in trouble for some time and the executive team blames everyone below them. The new CEO makes every single decision and the team just carries out his decisions telling their teams that everything is coming from the top. The executive teams have all been around for 10+ years with many of them much longer than that which is a clue that they don't promote people with fresh ideas or perspective. Middle management/Directors operate with the mindset of “this is just the way it is,” because they know that they cannot make any positive change. They will push you out if you try and influence positive change for the people. The Perficient people promise is smoke and mirrors. They are not an organization that cares about people. The only thing they care about is their brand, how many followers on their social channels, and will forsake every single person to hit their revenue numbers. The comp is way below industry standards. The marketing and sales leadership are gaslighting experts.
